Methodology
How we analyze vendors — and why we'll show you our work.
Rigorous findings need a transparent framework. The 3-Dimensional Value Framework is built so every finding comes with a clear signal, supporting context, and the sources behind it.
01 / 03 · Dimension
Clinical
Does it work?
We evaluate the strength of clinical evidence, fit to your population, and the plausibility of the outcome story.
Components
- · Evidence quality (peer review, study design, n-size)
- · Population fit & generalizability
- · Outcome plausibility & clinical mechanism
- · Engagement & adherence model

Financial
What does it cost — and save?
We pressure-test the financial story: what's load-bearing, where attribution falls apart, and what could break the savings story.
Components
- · Medical spend impact signals
- · Attribution methodology & buyer controllability
- · What could break the savings story

Operational
Can we actually run it?
We surface the burden you can't see in a deck — the integrations, dependencies, and governance signals that determine whether a pilot ships.
Components
- · Implementation burden & timeline
- · Data & integration requirements
- · Vendor execution dependencies
- · Compliance & governance signals
The process
From source data to a finished MAVE — in five steps.
01
Source
Public filings, peer review, vendor materials, claims data structure.
02
Structure
21 standardized attributes captured per vendor and product.
03
Analyze
3-D framework applied. Every finding sourced. Every gap named.
04
Stress-test
Risk signals across attribution, evidence, dependencies, governance.
05
Deliver
Decision-grade output. Findings, signals, and the sources behind them — auditable over time.
Our principles
What we won't compromise on.
Independence over advocacy.
We don't take vendor sponsorship dollars. The framework analyzes them — not the other way around.
Show our work.
Every finding comes with a clear signal, supporting context, and the sources behind it. If we don't know, we say we don't know.
One standard, every vendor.
The framework doesn't change between meetings. Your portfolio is evaluated against a single standard.
Buyer-controllable signal.
We separate what the vendor controls from what you control. Attribution risk is yours; you should know it.
Built for the boardroom.
If the recommendation can't survive a five-minute board challenge, the methodology hasn't done its job.
A note on AI
AI helps. Humans set the standard.
We use AI to extract structured information from unstructured vendor materials, surface candidate signals, and pre-populate the framework.
Humans designed the 3-D framework and define what “decision-grade” means. Quality is at our core — we've made up-front investments in instrumentation to monitor agent output, periodically sample findings against ground truth, and tighten the system when the data tells us to.
