About

Built by people who used to do this work the hard way.

Momentum is what an actuary and a product leader build when they spend years inside clinical service vendor evaluation and decide there has to be a better way. We're building the vendor intelligence solutions for healthcare buyers — not a consulting engagement, not a research subscription, but durable products your team operates on.

The story

Why we're building this.

Our founders spent years navigating healthcare service vendor evaluation from both sides — as health plan actuaries evaluating vendors, and as vendor leaders trying to communicate value. The process was consistently slow, expensive, and left everyone frustrated.

The framework changed every time. Institutional memory walked out the door whenever someone took a new job. Worst of all, the people closest to the decision rarely had time to do strategic thinking — they were too busy gathering information.

We built Momentum to go broad and deep — covering the full vendor landscape with the kind of analytical rigor that used to require a consulting engagement. So your team can practice at the top of their license.

What we believe

Three things that shape every decision we make about the product.

01

Vendor decisions deserve actuarial rigor.

Millions in spend. Real clinical consequences. Yet the typical evaluation runs on PowerPoint and personality. We can do better.

02

Depth shouldn't require a six-figure engagement.

Teams need the right information at the right time to make decisions — without waiting six months or hiring a consultancy to get it.

03

Independence is non-negotiable.

We will never take vendor sponsorship dollars. The framework analyzes them. Full stop.
